WREXHAM are due to announce their new manager this afternoon.
The club has been looking for a new boss since Sam Ricketts left The Racecourse to take over the hotseat at League One side Shrewsbury Town on December 3.
Graham Barrow, assistant to Ricketts, has been in temporary charge and recently signed a new contract keeping him at Wrexham until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Former Reds defence Dennis Lawrence, who worked with Barrow at Wigan, John Askey, without a club since leaving Shrewsbury, and Dave Challinor, the current AFC Fylde manager, are among the names linked with the vacancy while Barrow himself has also been linked with continuing in the role.
The new Wrexham chief will take over a club that is among the National League leaders and through to the second round of the FA Trophy.
