TWO babies born prematurely a year ago have returned to the Special Care Baby Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd for Christmas cuddles.
The parents of Delyth Owen and Esme Beardmore, from Penrhyn Bay, wanted to celebrate the fact their babies are now a year old, and hosted a coffee morning, and raised £850. The babies presented the cheque to the staff of the unit and had cuddles with the nurses who looked after them during their early days.
The girls’ parents wanted to express their gratitude to the special care unit and spread some Christmas cheer among the staff.
