An early morning car fire in Ruabon is suspected to have been caused deliberately.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 1.48am on Friday reporting a vehicle ablaze in New Hall Road.
One fire crew from Johnstown attended the scene and used a hose reel jet, a set of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the flames.
A spokesman for the service told the Leader that 100 per cent fire damage was caused to the interior of the car and 50 per cent fire damage was also caused to the exterior.
The cause of the incident was believed to be deliberate ignition, the spokesman added.
