Wrexham Council has unveiled the first of several electric car charging points in the county.

Those with electric cars can now get charged up in Tŷ Pawb, with two chargers on the first floor of the car park.

In addition to the normal parking fee the cost of re-charging your vehicle will be a 50p connection fee and 30p per kW hour. There will also be an overstay charge after four hours of £10.

The completion of these charging points is the first of several to come into use in the county borough before Christmas with drivers soon being able to charge up at Alyn Waters Country Park, Tŷ Mawr Country Park, Waterworld and the Trevor Basin.

The charging points have been funded by income from our Solar Farm in Legacy.

Any income from the charging element will go back into the Carbon Budget for future projects.
