A SEX trial jury has now returned partial verdicts.

Three men have been on trial on 18 sex and human trafficking charges for about a month.

The jury, which retired on Monday afternoon, has now returned to court and delivered some verdicts.

John Anthony Delaney, 33, of Ruthin Road caravan site in Wrexham, has been found guilty of three charges of human trafficking, one charge of rape and one charge of sexual assault.

However he was cleared of a further rape charge.

John James Purcell, 31, of Crescent Road in Ellesmere Port, has been convicted of three human trafficking charges.

The foreman at Mold Crown Court indicated that the jury had not reached verdicts in further charges against both men.

They have also not reached any verdicts in the case of a third defendant, Todd James Wickens, 28, of Homestead Lane in Wrexham, who denied two charges of rape and one trafficking charge.

Judge Rhys Rowlands sent the jury home to continue deliberations in the morning.

The trial prosecution allegations that in 2011 and 2012 two under aged girls who were in care were taken to hotels where a number of people turned up to have sex with them.
