A SOCIAL enterprise is encouraging more families to get involved in a well-being event which aims to promote positive energy.

The Mind Body Spirit (MBS) Festival, organised by RainbowBiz, will return this weekend and thousands of people are expected to turn up to Mold and enjoy the day.

The Festival is held five times every year and includes a variety of stalls, talks and different workshops including a newly introduced Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Bath.

Sue Oliver, founder of RainbowBiz, said: "It's getting bigger and getting more visitors from call over the place. We see traders coming from as far as Kent and Yorkshire and so it's about bringing people to North Wales.

"We are really proud of it. We just want the community to be able to access it without any financial barriers.

"We want to make it as fantastic as we can and promote positive energy."

The festival has been running for two years and has seen thousands of people return to Theatr Clwyd.

The event will be held at the theatre on Sunday, December 2 between 11am and 4pm and admission is free to everyone who attends.

Sue added: "It's put on by our volunteers with our support. Many of our volunteers are vulnerable adults with daily barriers, yet they get up early on the Sunday morning and get to the theatre to help us set it up.

"It gives me goosebumps to think how far it's grown and it's because they all support it. They are key to the event and the success of it.

"A big thank you goes to the theatre as well for letting us host it there."

RainbowBiz is a social enterprise that aims to bring people together and promote equality, diversity and inclusion.

The group hosts a variety of different sessions throughout Flintshire, including the weekly Digging Deeside group, bringing vulnerable adults together through gardening.

Sarah Way, who had the initial idea of the festival, told the Leader: "It's all about wellness and looking after your own health. There's nothing like it on this scale that is completely free, there was a gap in the market."
