A MAN whose body was found in a quarry had fallen from a height, it was revealed at the opening of an inquest.
North Wales Police launched a public appeal to help find Philip Neal Davies after he went missing from his home in Pwll Glas, Mold, on November 1.
The 41-year-old was caught on CCTV near the Bargain Booze store on Mold High Street and then on November 6 he was again caught on camera in Cadole walking towards Maeshafn.
Later that same day his body was found at Aberduna Quarry at Llanferres near Mold.
At a hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said a post-mortem examination revealed Mr Davies had a number of injuries consistent with having fallen.
Further toxicology tests are needed before the cause of death can be ascertained and the inquest was adjourned to a provisional date in April.
