Dozens of Bagillt, Flint and Holywell residents donned their hats and scarves at tea time on Remembrance Sunday to watch the dragon beacon being lit at Bagillt foreshore.
Robbie Williams, of Bagillt, said it was a respectful and poignant way to remember the hundreds of fallen soldiers from the local area who sacrificed their lives during World War One.
