HUNDREDS of people took part in a special remembrance service in Hawarden to commemorate the end of the First World War.
As the year marks the centenary of the end World War One, special events were held across the county and respects were paid to those that lost their lives.
Residents of Hawarden came together to lay their wreaths and crosses in remembering family members and friends involved during the war.
