A WREXHAM mother is appealing for the Good Samaritan, who paid for her son to get to school when he found himself penniless, to get in touch so she can thank him in person.

Natalie Brown says her family has been bowled over by the “random act of kindness” of a mystery man who stumped up a tenner when her son was unable to use a cash card at the Spar shop in Rhosddu.

She had given Kody, 11, her card so he could get £10 cashback to buy sweets and pay for his fare to Darland High School in Rossett.

But Natalie, 33, recalled: “The chip on my card failed when Kody tried to use it in the shop and he didn’t have any money to get to school.

“But this man stepped in and gave him a £10 note and paid for his sweets. It is such a nice gesture and so unexpected.

“I give him my card as it saves me the trip to the Spar shop with the baby in tow. Kody was really worried he wouldn’t make it to school, but thanks to this kind gentleman he was able to get the Chester bus to get to school in Rossett on time.”

Natalie, who lives in Grosvenor Gardens in Rhosddu, has posted a Facebook message in a bid to try and find the knight in white armour who came to her son’s aid.

“I would like to thank this gentleman who was so kind and generous,” she added. “As a mother I worry every morning when the children leave for school as the world can be a horrible place. But it is people like this gentleman who put the hope back into the world.

“It put a smile on my face and I would like this story to be told as it’s made my day. I believe that one random act of kindness can change the world.”
