NORTH Wales Police (NWP) stood together against racism at a special football tournament this weekend.
Two volunteer cadet teams from the force showed opposition to racism and racist-fuelled crime at Wrexham Racecourse on Saturday at an exhibition match attended by Mark Owen, chief officer for the North Wales Police Special Constabulary and NWP Citizens in Policing Manager.
The campaign, launched by The Red Card, is an online hub to support anyone in Wales who has been a victim or has witnessed racism in football as part of their 'Challenging Racism' in football project, named Show Racism the Red Card.
