The team was tasked at 12.30pm today by the UK Coastguard alongside the Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team to reports of a person who had fallen on rocks and required medical assistance on The Middle Eye, West Kirby.
A Flint Coastguard spokesman said: "RNLI Hoylake Lifeboat Station Hovercraft had successfully located a casualty who was suffering from upper leg injuries."
The casualty was then transported back to Dee Lane Slipway where they were handed over to the North West Ambulance Service.
All units stood down and the spokesman added: "We wish the person a speedy recovery."
