A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital following a road incident this morning.
North Wale Fire and Rescue were called to Carmel, near Holywell at 3.30am after reports of an incident involving a pedestrian and a car.
A spokesman said: "A walker was involved in a road traffic accident. We received reports of a person being trapped but they were not when crews arrived.
"One appliance was sent from Flint and one from Holywell and we made the vehicle safe."
An ambulance was also on scene following reports of a casualty.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "There was one casualty, but no serious injuries. They were conveyed to Glan Clwyd Hospital."
