Firefighters were called to a blaze in Saltney.

A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they received a call at 5.08am on Sunday to a fire on Saltney High Street involving two vehicles.

The blaze had spread to the downstairs window of a nearby house which suffered 100 per cent smoke damage and five per cent fire damage.

Two crews attended and used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal image camera.

It is believed the fire was started deliberately.

No-one was injured.
