A COMMUNITY has come together to celebrate the platinum anniversary of an elderly couple.
Ceinwen and Roy Jones attend the weekly lunch at the Raven Inn Pub, Llanarmon yn Ial on a regular basis in the community run village and a celebratory lunch was held for their 70th wedding anniversary.
The weekly lunch is held in the local pub for elderly people in a bid to give them a place to go to reduce social isolation.
The pair were married in the village in 1948 and will officially celebrate their anniversary on Tuesday, September 25.
