A SUBSTANTIAL amount of drugs has been recovered following a drugs bust in Wrexham.
Members of the Wrexham rural policing team took to Twitter on Wednesday to post results of raids in Summerhill and Gwersyllt areas.
A tweet, alongside images of items recovered, said: "Acting on intelligence reports from the local community, we carried out a positive warrant this morning in #Summerhill #Gwersyllt resulting in a large amount of cannabis.
"Any reusable materials such as compost and plant pots will be donated to local community groups."
On the same day Wrexham town centre's policing team also posted an image on Twitter of alleged cannabis adding: "Good news. More drugs off the streets of #wrexham and enquiries ongoing #notyoursanymore."
Police say they have been working to ensure drugs are kept off the streets of the town.
