AN ELDERLY lady has been thanked by police for her help in detaining a suspected drug dealer.
North Wales Police North Flintshire team released the thanks via twitter, following the incident in Holywell.
A spokesman for the team said: "In light of all the negative press around assisting police in the news this week, we would like to thank an elderly lady walking a dog who assisted a lone plain clothes officer detaining a suspected drug dealer who was violently resisting."
