A MAN has been charged with drink driving after a four-vehicle crash near Chester.
The incident happened on the A483 near the Eccleston turn-off at around 5.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, August 29).
Traffic came to a standstill on the northbound carriageway close to the Posthouse Roundabout with a tailback stretching to the Rossett turn-off.
A police spokesman confirmed two people were taken to hospital - a man with a suspected broken arm and a woman as a precaution.
Martin Roberts, 36, of Clawdd Poncen, Corwen, North Wales, was arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit.
He will appear at Chester Magistrates Court on September 14.
