TWO young teenagers were taken to hospital following a collision between a car and two pedestrians in Wrexham, say police.
North Wales Police confirmed the incident happened last night at around 10pm on Plas Coch Road and resulted in the road being closed until midnight, with both casualties taken to Wrexham Maelor hospital with injuries not thought to be too serious.
A police spokesman said the collision happened near the roundabout by B&Q and Homebase and the car involved was a Seat Ibiza.
The Wales Ambulance Service confirmed that one rapid response vehicle, one ambulance officer and an emergency ambulance were sent to the scene.
A spokesman said: "We were called at approximately 9.55pm on Tuesday, August 7 to reports of a road traffic accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian in Wrexham.
"Crews were also supported by St Johns Ambulance."
