A MAN died after falling through the roof of a cowshed.
An inquest has been opened into the death of David Alan Rees, 56, of Albert Grove, Ruabon.
At a brief hearing held in Ruthin, John Gittins, coroner for North East Wales and Central, said Mr Rees died on July 20 after he had fallen through the roof of a cowshed on the premises of Knolton Farm in Overton.
Mr Gittins added that Mr Rees died at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, after sustaining a head injury of a "traumatic nature".
The coroner said he could give no further details at this stage, but a final hearing is likely to take place next year and will possibly require a jury to be called.
