A YOUNG man from Chester has been charged after four women were ‘inappropriately touched’ in Chester.
George Watts, 18, of Pensby Avenue, is accused of three counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault.
He will appear at Crewe Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday, July 25).
It comes after a woman was allegedly grabbed by a man as he ran past her on Bache Drive, Upton, at 11.50am on Wednesday, July 11.
The Standard reported yesterday that three other complainants claim the same happened to them in the Upton and Newton areas of the city.
Cheshire Police deployed extra patrols in the area to reassure residents.
