PRIMARY school pupils visited a care home to have lunch with its residents.
Pupils from Ysgol Bryn Coch, in Mold, made the short trip to Mold’s Cottage Nursing Home to have their butties with the people staying there on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s the second time the school have visited the care home, after viewing the home’s gardens earlier this year and the school will now make regular visits to the home.
The thrilled residents sat out in the garden to have lunch with children, and one pupil even taught a resident a popular dance move in the form of the ‘dab’.
Mrs Ceri Fennell, Teacher, said: ‘’There was a really lovely atmosphere there and the residents were thrilled to see the children again.
‘’They really appreciated the visit and the children loved seeing them once again. As a school we think it’s really important to promote intergenerational activities.’’
