STAFF at a bed store in Chester are organising a raffle to raise money for a fostering charity.

Dreams, based on the Greyhound Retail Park, has chosen to support The Fostering Network this year and is hoping to raise £1,000.

Employee Michelle Griffiths has been on the phone to numerous businesses in the area and has amassed a treasure trove of more than 50 prizes that must be won.

They include river trips, vouchers for local attractions, meals out, gift vouchers, beauty treatments, hampers and even a professional photo shoot.

Michelle said: “People can buy tickets from the store itself on the Greyhound Park or online through the Just Giving Page.

“The draw will be held at the Dreams Chester store on Sunday July 29 at 10am. All winners will be announced on that day by myself.”

The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading Fostering charity and their aim is to give all children in foster care the same opportunities and life chances that all children should have.

Michelle added: “I’ve had such an amazing response from the businesses in Chester I wanted others to hear about it. So far I’ve raised over £300 but I’m wanting to reach a goal of £1,000.”
