PART of the A548 has been closed as firefighters tackle a blaze in the open.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 1pm reporting a fire in the open at Deeside Industrial Estate.
Two crews have been sent to the scene and remain there at the moment.
North Wales Police has stated that the A548 at Deeside Industrial Estate is currently closed between Zone three and Zone four whilst officers are assisting the fire service.
A police spokesman said: "Please avoid the area for the time being and use alternative routes."
Arriva Trains Wales have said that the line between Neston and Hawarden Bridge has been blocked due to the nearby fire.
Disruption is expected until 6pm. Replacement road transport between Shotton and Bidston is being supplied by Pats Coaches.
