MARTIN BURGER hit a brilliant 124 for Connah’s Quay but still ended up on the losing side in the Premier Division.

Quay hit back with 205 to St Asaph’s 239 for nine with Burger scoring most of the runs for Quay, who remain in the bottom two. Matt Redinger also added 57 with the pair also taking two wickets apiece.

Gresford chased down 182 to win a relegation battle with Hawarden Park.

David Hughes hit 40 and number nine Tom Norris added an unbeaten 39 as Park posted 181 for nine.

Sam Thompson landed 4-33 before Gresford responded with 182 for four thanks to Chris Ellwood (52 not out) and Matthew Cree (39).

Struggling Chirk are bottom after being bowled out for 185 against Bangor.

Steve Kelshaw and Chris Prichard both hit 47 but Bangor hit back with 186 for three.

Brymbo lost out to champions Menai Bridge, who blasted 200.

Daniel Parry took 4-40 and Gareth Boys 3-30 before Bridge bowled out Brymbo for 122, captain James Claybrook top scoring with 35.

Llandudno thrashed Pwllheli by 10 wickets while Northop produced a superb performance to beat Denbigh.

Northop hit 215 for nine thanks to Darren Williams (56) and Harry Lewis (52) before Denbigh collapsed to 123, Andy Poynton taking 3-28 and Mohammad Khan collecting 4-16.

In Division One, Pontblyddyn beat Llay by five wickets.

Llay scored 200 for seven with Dave Phennah hitting 60 as Chris Moss ended up with 3-44.

Man of the match Moss then added an unbeaten 49 to go with Alistair Roberts’ 73 not out as the hosts eased to a 201 for five.

Mold were well beaten by Mochdre. They put 217 for six on the board thanks to 74 from Richard Crane and an unbeaten 50 from Richard Deniz.

Mochdre eased to 218 for one thanks to 104 from Stewart Williams and 93 from Steve Smith.

Bersham were battered by 10 wickets by Llanrwst for whom openers Trefor Williams (79) and Aled Hughes (61) put on a 154 winning partnership.

Bersham had earlier scored 152, Tim Jones top scoring with 35.
