NEW car parking fees are to be introduced in a Flintshire town.

As the town regeneration work is coming to an end and following a formal consultation period, the parking charges will be introduced in Flint on Tuesday, May 29.

Charging for parking in other towns was implemented in 2015, but was postponed until now in Flint due to the town regeneration building work.

A spokesman for Flintshire Council confirmed there are no plans to introduce charges for disabled car users at council car parks in designated disabled parking bays.
