NANTGLYN 4
YSCEIFIOG 2
IN-FORM Nantglyn recorded their third win on the bounce to climb up into the top half of the standings for the first time this season.
Llion Jones had Nantglyn in front on 20 minutes, but Ysceifiog levelled before the break with top scorer Tim Hughes on target.
Gerwyn Lloyd’s cross-cum-shot found its way into the back of the net to reestablish the home side’s lead, but back came the Flintshire visitors, who levelled for a second time thanks to defender Chris House’s first-ever goal for the club.
Ysceifiog failed in their efforts to get their noses in front, however, despite chances falling to Tim Hughes and Rob Raynor.
Geraint Jones popped up to give Nantglyn the lead for the third time and there was no way back for Ysceifiog when player-boss Bryn Jones scored his sixth goal of the summer to seal the points.
Robin Jones was one of the star performers in Nantglyn colours and right back Dan Davies had a good night for Ysceifiog.
