FOCUS Wales have announced a new wave of performers and delegates for the 2019 international showcase festival, which takes place in Wrexham across May 16-18.

The third wave of live acts announced for FOCUS Wales 2019 includes Cate Le Bon, who will play a very special intimate show at Undegun on Saturday May 18, which will also be recorded by BBC Radio Wales for broadcast.

Colourful electro-pop trio Kero Kero Bonito also join the line up after selling out shows across the globe since the release of their debut album Bonito Generation in 2016. Kero Kero Bonito’s 2019 tour will be their first playing live as a five piece, and promises to be their most raucous yet.

Other highlights among the new acts announced include New Zealand four piece The Beths, who have been making waves with their high energy guitar-pop and recently supported Death Cab For Cutie on their huge 2018 UK and Europe tour. Also announced are Accü, LIFE, Lizzy Farrall, and Los Blancos, joined by even more exciting international acts, including the likes of MNNQNS (France), Mart Avi (Estonia), Miss Eaves (USA), Elizabete Balčus (Latvia), :papercutz (Portugal), and AA55A (Korea).

Festival booker Andy Jones said:"We’ve spent the last 12 months finding the hottest new bands from around the world, to bring them to Wales this May. I’m very excited to announce these new additions to our line-up, and we still have so much more to announce in the coming weeks"
