THE World Heritage Site Stonehenge, which was gifted to the nation a century ago, will be the subject for the guest who will deliver Chester Civic Trust’s opening lecture of the 2018/19 season.
Julian Richards, the radio and TV presenter of 'Meet the Ancestors', 'Blood of the Vikings', 'Mapping our Town' and many other programmes will give a talk about one of his passions.
He was formerly an archaeologist with English Heritage and has written a number of books about Stonehenge.
The venue will be the Grosvenor Museum lecture theatre next Wednesday, October 24, at 7.30pm. Admission for Civic Trust members is free and there is a £5 charge for guests.
