Naming a new baby is a big responsibility, and whilst some parents want their child to stand out from the crowd, some names endure the test of time.

New analysis of ONS (Office for National Statistics) baby name data by leading name label manufacturer, My Nametags, reveals the UK's 'children's name capitals', the areas of the country where you are most likely to encounter a child with a certain name.

Wales has the highest density of children named Dylan and Megan.

To check out top names from other regions across the UK, you can use My Nametags' interactive map here.

"No matter how much I pushed, the baby wouldn't move. They wanted to take me for a c-section, so one midwife went to get the doctor to take me. While she was out and a student midwife stayed with me, he decided to move down and came out within seconds. By the time the other midwife came back with the doctors I had Brian on my chest and the doctor started to laugh and ask the midwife if she had the right person."
