Calling all pet lovers, the search is on for the region's picture perfect, sleepy pets, with a boost to your own sweet dreams up for grabs.

In partnership with the Leader, Wrexham-based bed specialists, North Wales Beds, is calling on pet owners across Wrexham and Flintshire to share photos of their snoozing pets.

In a fun competition, entrants are being asked to share their photos of their snoring pups, dozing felines, or any other creatures great and small, catching a few winks, with many appearing in a special Leader supplement ahead of announcing our lucky winners.

Three winners will be chosen at random from all the entries, with the prizes supplied by North Wales Beds.

First prize is a brand new Sealy Posturepedic Millionaire Mattress (available as a double or king size, as stipulated by the winner), with a value of over £500.

Second and third prize winners will receive £100 and £50 respectively off any item in the North Wales Beds showroom and store, located on Mold Road, Gwersyllt, Wrexham.

David Griffiths, from North Wales Beds, said: "We've all heard the phrases 'taking a cat nap' or 'sleeping like a dog', and now we want to see your pets doing just that!

"Whether they are being a couch potato, sleeping in an odd place or position, or stealing all the covers on your bed, we can't wait to see what sleepy shenanigans our pets are up to across the local area.

"Don't forget to tag us in any sleepy pets photos online too - @NorthWalesBeds on Facebook and @NWBWrexham on Instagram, with the hashtag #NWBpetsinbed."

Set up more than 30 years ago, North Wales Beds is the leading and most trusted specialist bed and mattress retailer in North Wales and its border counties.
