DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PERMANENT SPEED RESTRICTION A541 BODFARI & B5429 BODFARI - ABERWHEELER) 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2018
On 24th April 2018 Denbighshire County Council made an Order under sections 82(2) 83(2) 84(1) and 84 (2) and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into effect on 30th April 2018. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.
The previously made Order entitled The County Council of Clwyd (40 MPH Speed Limit) (No.l) Order 1975 is revoked in so far as it affects the lengths of road referred to in the Schedule below.
Copies of the Order, together with plans showing the lengths of road to which the Order relates may be examined at Denbigh Library, Hall Square, Denbigh during normal opening hours.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained within it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 24th April 2018, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
Lengths of road Bodfari and Aberwheeler in the County of Denbigh 40 mph Speed Restriction
1. A541; from a point 31 metres south west of the projected westerly kerbline of B5429 to a point 876 metres in a north easterly direction (when measured along the northerly kerbline)
2. B5429; from its junction with A541 In a south easterly direction to a point 110 metres north west of its junction with Bro Lleweni (when measured along the north easterly kerb line).
