WILLIAM EVANS 1939-2019 Pat and all the family of the late Bill Evans of Park Grove Connah's Quay would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who supported them during their recent sudden bereavement and his previous time in hospital. They have been touched by all the beautiful sympathy cards, flowers, Masses, prayers and messages they received which helped to sustain them through this extremely difficult time. Very special thanks to Fr Adrian Wilcock, Fr Fretch Ballesteros, Fr Francis Maple, Canon Joseph Stuart and Deacon Peter Brownbill for concelebrating at Bills Requiem Mass assisted by Billy Conway, Jason Green and Brenda Owen-Jones, Simon Hughes Organist, Paul Jewell Clarinetist, and the Flint Ladies Choir. Special thanks to the bearers Nigel Leighton (brother-in-law) Chloe and Liam Evans (grandchildren) Tony & Gavin Evans (nephews representing Bills late brother Edwin) Stuart Firth (lifelong Army friend) John Allman, George Clark and Terry Derbyshire (close friends representing Mountain Park Golf Club, Flint) Paul Hopwood, the Royal British Legion Standard Bearer. Thanks also to the amazing staff of Ward 43 at the Countess of Chester Hospital, Laura & Rowena of the Macmillan Lung Cancer Support Nurses, Lucy Reid, Deeside District Community Nursing team Peter Morris Funeral Director & staff, for their professionalism, help and guidance and to the Staff at Memoria Crematorium Flintshire for the beautiful service, their unstinting support, kindness and attention to detail. We, as a family, will never forget the kindness, love and support throughout the saddest time of our lives. Thank you and God bless you all.
