PARRY IVOR GLYN The funeral has taken place of Mr Ivor Glyn Parry who lived in Garden Village, Wrexham and passed away at home on 11th September aged 92 years. He leaves his children Malcolm, Michael, Angela, Janet and Julie, grandchildren Donna, Claire, Jamie, Kelly, Shellie, Gavin, Callum, Lucinda, Carla, Nicole, Chloe and Ryan, great grandchildren Jasmine, Tyler, Harvey, Rhys, Charlie, Jayden, Lauren, Dorian, Louie, Camden, Carson, Ollie and Harrie. Ivor was a retired engine driver (British Rail) with 49 years service and enjoyed bowling, watching sport and holidays. The funeral service was at Pentrebychan Crematorium followed by cremation at the crematorium on 25th September 2019 and was conducted by the Reverend Rebecca Sparey Taylor. Bearers were Malcolm and Michael Parry (sons), Jamie Parry, Callum Hewitt and Gavin Maloney (grandsons) and Kevin Hewitt (son-in-law). Mourners were his loving wife Pamela, Malcolm and Elaine (son and daughter-in-law), Michael and Glynis (son and daughter-in-law), Angela (daughter), Janet and Kevin (daughter and son-in-law), grandchildren Donna and Andrew, Claire, Jamie & Claire, Kelly, Shellie & Jonny, Gavin and Emma, Callum and Diane, Lucinda and Scott, Nicole and Chloe, great grandchildren Jasmine and Harvey and many other relatives, friends and neighbours, too numerous to mention. Flowers were sent by wife Pam, Malcolm, Michael, Angela and Janet and families and sister-in-law Joyce and Donna and family (granddaughter). Mrs Pamela Parry and family of the late Ivor Glyn Parry wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for sympathy and flowers received in their bereavement. Thanks also for donations amounting to £300 for Nightingale House Hospice. Thanks to the doctors in Strathmore Surgery, district nurses and carers for their kindness and care given to Ivor in the last few weeks. Thanks to Roberts Brothers for their compassion and excellent service and also to the Reverend Rebecca Sparey-Taylor for conducting a lovely service.
