JONES EMILY IRENE The funeral of Mrs Emily Irene Jones of Leeswood, beloved wife of the late William Henry Jones, a much loved mum, mum-in-law, nan, great nan and sister took place on 9th May 2019 at Christ Church Pontblydyyn. The service was officiated by the Rev Carole Poolman and attended by many members of Emily's family and friends. She is survived by her children Val and Peter, her grandchildren Ian, Louise, Daniel, Tom and Luke, and by her great grandchildren Owen, Iwan, Elliot, Bethan, William, Xander and Verity and her sister Theresa. Emily was born in Liverpool and at the age of 12 was evacuated to Leeswood for the duration of WW2. She returned to marry Henry in 1947 and has been a respected member of the community ever since. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Donations in lieu of flowers amounted to £378 for Diabetes UK. The family would like to thank H J Williams & Sons Funeral Directors, Cymau. A Special thank you to all the staff at Leeswood surgery for all the kindness they showed to Emily over the years.
