JONES Sheila Emma. Passed away peacefully on 2nd February, 2018 at her daughter's home in Wenatchee, Washington, USA. She was born in Wrexham on 19th May, 1926, where she continued to live until 2014. Sheila married Joseph Glynn Jones on 26th June, 1948. They enjoyed a long and happy marriage lasting 66 years. For 59 of those years they lived at 46, Tanydre. In December of 2014, following the passing of her husband, she relocated to the United States to be with her daughter, son-in-law and their family. Sheila worked at Celanese for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and baking, especially birthday cakes for family and neighbours' children. Sheila and Glynn enjoyed many active years with the Burma Star Association and treasured the long lasting friendships that were created there. They spent many summers in the United States with their daughter's family in Texas and Washington State and always embraced new adventures along the way. Sheila is survived by her daughter Hilary Tuggle, son-in-law Robert Tuggle, grand daughters Jennifer Reasoner, Amy Tuggle-Malich, along with their husbands, Jason Reasoner and Chas Malich. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Glynn Jones. Sheila was much loved as a mother and grandmother, and will forever be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held later in the year when Sheila's and Glynn's remains will be Interned in Wrexham. Details for the service will be released to family and friends at a later date.
