FOR months, anti-Europeans have been whipping up hysteria about the EU Summit at Nice.
Tony Blair will always stand up for Britain's interests. But in any case, this meeting was always planned to just tidy up a bit, so that more countries can join.
There may be something of a parallel with 1940, when another Conservative leader, Winston Churchill, deliberately stirred up fears of a German invasion.
The reality was that the Germans never had any intention of invading that was just a nationalistic myth.
Anyway, they were obviously far too disorganised.
And no serious politician in Europe was even talking about a Thousand Year Reich.
But I believe we can rely on the people, to correctly judge who is telling the truth.
