IT doesn't matter whether it is league or cup - Sam Ricketts just wants a fourth win in a row against Harrogate Town tomorrow.

The sides go head to head at Wetherby Road in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, just over three weeks since the National League high-fliers drew 0-0 at the same venue.

Wrexham have picked up three successive wins since then and are up to second, on the same amount of points as leaders Salford City, but Ricketts is just focussed on reaching the first round of the famous cup competition.

"It is only a couple of weeks ago we were there so we know what to expect," said Ricketts.

"We know their strengths, we know they are a good side so less surprises going into a game which makes a change.

"Harrogate was a really good performance off us on the back of the back of the Sutton one.

"We showed all the things we were lacking in the Sutton game so it was pleasing.

"From that we have gone on and got three wins which is nice, we just need to make it four now."

Maintaining the promotion challenge remains the priority but Ricketts would like to go on a cup run as well.

"I am just preparing for it exactly the same as a league game," said Ricketts.

"I know the rewards of winning the game are different but ultimately, I want to win.

"There will be no let-up. There is no difference in training, no difference in intensity, no difference in preparation, we are going in to win this game just as we would do a league game.

"It would be nice to have a run in the FA Cup. That is what we are trying to do, win the game and see where it takes us."

Ricketts knows Harrogate will be just as eager to reach the next round.

"Both teams I'm sure will want to win the game and go on a decent run so it will be a tough game," added Ricketts.

"Nothing less than what we expect."
