Brymbo’s miserable run of results at Llandudno continued as they slipped to a five-wicket Premier Division defeat.

James Claybrook’s side went into the clash on the back of league and Welsh Cup wins last weekend, but were unable to post a challenging total after winning the toss.

Joss Roberts struck 36 not out and Gareth Boyes contributed 34 at the bottom of the order, but Brymbo were bowled out for just 129, Tom Thornton bagging 4-16.

Ben Roberts, Dan Parry and Mohamed Nilan Jayman were in the wickets after the interval, although it proved in vain as Danial Evans’ 59 not out saw Llandudno home.

It was Brymbo's sixth successive league defeat at Llandudno.

Mold kept their nerve to record a hard fought eight-run home victory over Conwy in Division One.

The Flintshire side posted 228 for seven having been asked to bat first, an opening wicket stand of 17 between Richard Crane (88) and Isaac Allen (71) doing the damage.

Rajjenu Britto struck 113 in reply for Conwy, but once he was run out by George Deniz, Kyran Van Der Kooij claimed 4-46 to restrict the visitors to 220 for nine from their allotted 50 overs.

Carwyn L Williams hit an unbeaten 111 as Bethesda (248-9) recorded a 123-run home win over Llanrwst (125).

Bersham slipped to a five-wicket defeat in a low scoring affair at Dolgellau.

Extras top scored with 29 in Bersham’s 104 all out, before Dolgellau reached 105 for five inside 30 overs.

Amith Tilakaratne, who had earlier his 18, took 2-20 for Bersham as they created some problems for Dolgellau.
