Connah's Quay snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as they recorded a two-wicket win over Flintshire rivals Pontblyddyn.

Chasing 207 for victory, Quay were on the ropes as they slipped to 16-5, Rhys Jones helping himself to four of the wickets to fall.

But David Powell (64) and Ryan Holloway (34) rebuilt the innings with a partnership of 97, before Darren Leach struck a 51-ball unbeaten 58, including seven fours and three sixes, to see Quay home.

Earlier, Alistair Roberts hit 49 in Pontblyddyn's 206-9, Martin Burger the pick of the Quay attack with 5-59.

Stephen Kelshaw took the headlines away from James Claybrook as his century inspired Brymbo to a 73-run Premier Division success over Denbigh.

When the in-form Claybrook fell for 10 after Brymbo had won the toss and elected to bat, Kelshaw stepped up, hitting a fine 115 to help the visitors post 248-7.

Ben Roberts removed the Denbigh top order, before Marlon Welcome-Goodman struck 79, but once he went the home side fell away.

Roberts (4-31) starred with Gareth Boys (3-34) and Conner Davies (2-16) also impressing as Denbigh were dismissed for 175.

Northop further boosted their hopes of escaping the drop with a seven-run success over St Asaph.

Having slipped to 40-5, Northop were indebted to Liam Naylor (56) and Tom Blackwell (46) as they made their way to 178.

The lower order duo made quick runs to help Northop set a total that they would be able to defend as Liam Moores (4-25), Mark Poynton (3-32) and Andy Poynton (2-43) combined impressively with the ball to dismiss St Asaph for 171.

Hawarden Park failed to build on their victory over Llandudno as they were beaten by five wickets at the hands of Bangor.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Hawarden were in trouble until Sam Underhill (72), Adam Doyle (41) and Ian Martin (41) helped them recover to 209 all out.

Martin then picked up 2-43, but Bangor managed to cross the finishing line thanks to David Winter (40) and Robbie Marshall (35no).

Reigning champions Menai Bridge (194-5) continued their title bid with a five-wicket win over Mochdre (191), while Pwllheli (214) were 29-run victors against Llandudno 185.

Gresford's Division One title bid continued with a six-wicket success over promotion rivals Llay Welfare.

The home side's bowling attack did the damage as they dismissed Llay for just 89 inside 36 overs, a total which Gresford passed with plenty of time to spare.

Robert Ward was the star as Marchwiel and Wrexham's improving form continued with a 182-run success over Buckley.

Ward struck a fine 133, including 19 fours, and with Chris Woodcock (61) and George Forgrave (52) supporting him impressively, Marchwiel posted a daunting 288-4.

Anthony Morris (3-40) led the Marchwiel bowling attack with Roman Walker, Josh Williams and Nathan Matthews picking up two wickets apiece to dismiss Buckley for just 106.

Alyn Evans (30) and Sam Evans (29) were the only Buckley batsmen to trouble the scorers.

Mohamed Nilam Jayman grabbed 5-17 as Bersham overcame Mold by eight wickets.

Usman Butt (37) and Duane Williams (35) were in the runs, but Jayman impressed to bowl Mold out for just 131.

Suresh Lakmal Koswathage hit an unbeaten 55 and Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka struck 35 not out as Bersham reached 132-2 inside 28 overs, Butt claiming 2-24.

Carywn Williams and Jared Mitchell both struck centuries as Bethesda (228-2) beat Bodedern (168) by 60 runs, while Llanrwst (145) beat Dolgellau (82) by 63 runs and Conwy (226-4) comfortably overcame the challenge of Menai Bridge 2nds (222-9) by six wickets.
