Brymbo produced a timely 10-wicket win as they boosted their Premier Division survival bid by beating Hawarden Park.

Having been asked to bat first on a two-paced wicket, Hawarden laboured to 137, opener Jehan Yahathugoda hitting a patient 34.

James Claybrook (4-45) and Elliot Hughes (3-17) were amongst the wickets for Brymbo, who were set a revised total of 100 from 36 overs after a rain delay.

Captain Joss Roberts (55 not out) and Claybrook (44no) then eased Brymbo to a flawless victory inside 21 overs.

Mold shrugged off yet another century from Blake Dean to claim a crucial seven-wicket success at Bangor.

Relegation threatened Mold were able to restrict Bangor to 175-9 despite Dean's 100 as captain Usman Butt claimed 4-50.

A delay due to rain reduced the Mold victory target and unbeaten half centuries from Butt (59no) and opener Chris Boulton (51no) saw them to the winning score of 130-3 inside 25 overs.

Connah's Quay boosted their hopes of a second placed finish courtesy of a four-wicket success over fellow top two hopefuls Pontblyddyn.

Pontblyddyn, asked to bat first, were thankful to a pair of 54s from Phil Davies and skipper Jeff Lituri, the duo helping the visitors to 198-9, despite Martin Burger’’s 6-50.

And Burger carried that form into his batting as he struck an impressive unbeaten 88 from 93 balls to see Quay home inside 47 overs, after Darren Jones had hit his own half century.

Opening bowler Chris Moss was the pick of the Pont attack, the seam bowler recording 4-29 from 10 overs.

The victories for Mold and Brymbo made sure that Llanrwst and Pwllheli remain in the bottom two, despite promising performances from the duo.

Gareth Goodson bagged 6-44 as Pwllheli were bowled out for 178, but Mochdre's reply faltered and the away side were dismissed for 141, which handed the strugglers a 37-run success.

Bottom of the table Llanrwst looked sure to taste victory before rain ended their match with Llandudno abruptly.

Matt Redinger struck 136 not out as Llanrwst posted 244-8, a total Llandudno didn't look like anywhere near as they were 140-8 from 39 overs when the rain came in.

Both Quay and Pont are scrapping it out with Mochdre for second spot after Menai Bridge won the title with a five-wicket win over St Asaph.

David North struck 59 not out as St Asaph posted 164-9, a total Menai passed in the 33rd over thanks to a quickfire half century from Kaine Harmsworth.
