Former Chester striker James Alabi has sealed a move to National League club Leyton Orient.
Orient have swooped for the 23-year-old forward who was surplus to requirements at Tranmere Rovers, whom he joined last summer from the Blues.
Rovers were ordered to pay Chester £22,500 in compensation for Alabi after a tribunal hearing in February, after he scored 17 goals in 42 appearances for Chester during the 2016/17 campaign.
Alabi has penned a two-year deal with the O's for an undisclosed fee, of which Chester will be owed 15% after securing a sell-on clause at the FA hearing earlier this year.
The former Stoke City and Ipswich Town forward struggled to establish himself at Prenton Park and spent part of last season on-loan at Dover Athletic. He was also subject to a transfer bid in January from Ebbsfleet United which fell through.
