Chester FC's first-team were put through their paces by their new management duo as they returned for pre-season training.
On a warm evening, joint-managers Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson, coach Derek Egan and fitness experts put the Blues through a series of fitness tests on their first day back.
And just hours earlier, Morley and Johnson had sealed deals for their fifth and sixth summer signings, with Jon Moran and John Pritchard arriving from Forest Green Rovers and Ashton United respectively.
Fellow new signings Steve Howson, Grant Shenton, Matty Hughes and Dominic Smalley were all in action, as well as transfer listed duo Ross Hannah and Kingsley James, and Jordan Archer who has been subject of a rejected bid from Southport.
Chester are set to make two further signings over the next 48 hours, with a first-team departure also looking likely.
