VAUXHALL MOTORS have been handed a testing tie at high-flying Blue Square Premier Division club Stevenage Borough in the FA Trophy second round.

Current FA Trophy holders Stevenage, who are managed by Graham Westley, progressed to the second round on Saturday with a 2-0 home victory over last season's semi-final opponents Ebbsfleet.

Goals from Chris Beardsley and David Bridges secured Borough’s hopes of retaining the trophy.

And Newport County’s seventh win in eight games has secured the club a home tie.

The Blue Square South leaders were drawn against York City or Hinckley United after bagging a 3-1 home victory against lower-league side Farnborough Town at the weekend.
