HAWARDEN RANGERS still remain in the hunt for the Flintshire Youth League Division One title.

Oliver Thomas, Joshua Jones and George Savage got the goals in a 3-2 win at Brickfield Rangers U17s for whom Leo Parker bagged both.

Five points behind leaders Caerwys but with two games in hand, it remains in Hawarden’s hands.

Caerwys powered on with a 4-1 victory over Coedpoeth United thanks to another Alex Jones treble. Caleb Jones also scored with Adam Thomas hitting back.

Llangollen Town triumphed 4-3 at Brickfield’s U19s side with Sam Antrobus, Will Cooke and Louis Dennis getting the goals. Dan Burnett, Blessing Osilaja and Harry Wick made a real game of it.

In Division Two, second-placed Rhostyllen won 5-0 at FC Coedpoeth where Kyle Williams (2), Riley Clewley, Ryan O’Malley and Charlie Gorham got the goals.

Leaders St Asaph City were 3-1 winners at Holywell Town for whom Sam Rowland scored.

Mynydd Isa also picked up a 3-1 victory over Buckley Town. Gethin Skates scored twice with Jack Casey grabbing the other as Jac Price hit back.

It finished 3-3 between Broughton United, for whom Cian Davies scored all three, and Borras Park Rangers, who replied through Tyler Davies, Mathew Hunter and Alex Whitby.

In the Cymru Premier Development North League, superb Tyler Berry bagged both as Connah’s Quay Nomads won 2-0 at Bala Town.

George Maire scored from the spot in Flint Town United’s 4-1 defeat at home to Newtown and Airbus were floored 3-0 by champions The New Saints.
