CARL FORSTER has been left frustrated by North Wales Crusaders’ enforced break.

With the Challenge Cup and 1895 Cup runs over, the Cru now face a lengthy wait before they kick off their League 1 campaign at Cornwall on March 24.

“It’s tough, because we’ve got a five-week break because we’re out of the cup competitions,” said play-coach Forster (pictured above).

“The one thing we want to do is get back on the horse and play next week, but obviously we’ve got this break. But, I’ve just spoke about what we can work on and that’s what we’ve got to do for the next four-or-five weeks.

“We’ve got to work on it. Like I keep saying, we’ve got these training sessions planned with other clubs and I don’t know if we can get a friendly in, I’m not sure. That’s something I’ll speak to the club on and see if we can get something sorted.

“But we’ve just got to make the most of the time and go from there.”

On March 15, North Wales Crusaders supporters are invited to join Forster and some of the first team squad at the club’s first supporters evening.
