TABLE-TOPPING Chester were deserved winners after a frantic finish at the third placed hosts.
Dave Hankin broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute when he smashed home a 15 yard shot into the bottom left corner after George Horan had headed the ball into his path from Matty McGinn's corner.
Ben Mills doubled the Blues' account in the 33rd minute when he crashed home a close range header from Hankin's superbly judged right wing cross.
Horan crashed home a back post header from Wes Baynes' 74th minute corner on the left to put the contest beyond the home club.
Brackley reduced the deficit in the 87th minute when Steve Diggin stroked home from substitute Gary Mulligan's assist.
And Diggin made it 3-2 in the 90th minute when he headed home a Mulligan cross during a frantic finish.
