RGC head coach Mark Jones praised his forward line after their stunning win at Pontypridd.
The Principality Premiership side turned on the style on their travels, racking up five tries in their bonus point triumph to extend their fantastic start to the new top-flight season.
The Gogs now sit in third position in the standings, and things do not get any easier this weekend when they host reigning champions Merthyr in front of the BBC Wales Scrum V cameras once again (7.15pm).
Jones, said: “I’m delighted with the win, and the pack. Phil (John) has being doing a lot of work this week with our young pack, “We will take this performance and look to build on it heading back to Stadwim Zip World for the Merthyr game next Friday.”
Attention now turns to their clash with Merthyr, who come into the game on the back of a 22-14 home loss to Aberavon as they look to replicate last season’s incredible double-winning achievement.
