TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v LIVERPOOL

NICK HARRISON: The real thing’s back and what a good one to kick-off with! Liverpool look good in all departments and the wide Wembley pitch will play to their strengths. 1-2

TOM NORRIS: It will be a warm welcome back to the Premier League with this cracker to kick-off the weekend and make everyone forget about international football. Spurs ran riot in this fixture last season. That won’t happen again. 2-2

DAN HEALD: Lots of expectation surrounding this one. The absence of Lloris and Alli will be keenly-felt for Spurs and I expect Liverpool to pick up where they left off prior to the international break. 1-3

BOURNEMOUTH v LEICESTER CITY

NH: Bournemouth have enjoyed a great start while The Foxes are showing signs of stability. There are always goals down in this part of the South coast and this should be no exception. 2-2

TN: Fancied Bournemouth might struggle this season, but they are proving that theory wrong at the moment. Leicester will be better for the fact Vardy has had a rest. Will be tight. 2-2

DH: Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth have fared better than I expected early on and I’m backing them to see off Puel’s unpredictable Foxes with both to score 2-1

CHELSEA v CARDIFF CITY

NH: He’s been kicked by every team he’s played so far this season and Hazard can expect another rough ride from Cardiff today. But he’ll score again in a hard-fought home win. 2-0

TN: The thought of watching Hazard skip around Sean Morrison and company is an amusing one. Warnock’s men look out of their depth and this could hammer home that point at The Bridge. 3-0

DH: This could get messy for the Bluebirds. Hazard is in fine form and Chelsea look revived under Sarri’s guidance this season. 4-0

HUDDERSFIELD v CRYSTAL PALACE

NH: The Terriers have to win and they will do if Zaha doesn’t feature for Palace, who rely too much on their pacy frontman. Mounie to grab the winner. 2-1

TN: Palace talisman Zaha appears to be winning the race to play in this one and that should be enough to swing it for Roy’s boys. Huddersfield look destined for a return to the Championship unless the drastically improve. 0-2

DH: Huddersfield have shown little this season to suggest they belong at the top table, whereas Palace have laboured in games they ought to have won. I’m backing the Eagles to turn a corner with an away win. 1-2

MANCHESTER CITY v FULHAM

NH: All the talk’s been about City’s eye-opening documentary so far and not what’s happening on the pitch. Without De Bruyne they don’t look half as good as they should do and Guardiola must surely have realised that the Aguero and Jesus pairing just doesn’t work. 3-1

TN: Fulham play in such a way that City can expect to be forced to answer some defensive questions, however, the visitors aren’t always too keen on keeping the ball out of their net. Hard not to see a home win for City. 4-1

DH: goals are virtually guaranteed here. Jokanovic demands an expansive approach from his Fulham, but City will rip them apart if they leave themselves too exposed. 3-0

NEWCASTLE UNITED v ARSENAL

NH: Arsenal will struggle again up north because their defence is awful. I can’t believe how bad Bellerin’s become and if The Magpies go for The Gunners then it’s a home win. It’s all about how brave Benitez is. 3-2

TN: Rafa’s men have lost 2-1 to Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester City, so Arsenal will have to have their wits about them - something that can’t always be said about the Gunners, whose defence has somehow got worse. 2-2

DH: How Gunners fans would love to be singing ‘One-nil to the Arsenal’ at full-time. Sadly with such a porous back line that seems unlikely. Newcastle to stop the rot with a point here. 1-1

WATFORD v MANCHESTER UNITED

NH: Who’d have though The Hornets would be flying high? Elton John’s loving it. Another home win against United, who produced their best display of the season at Vicarage Road last year, will keep the run going. 2-2

TN: United showed the way to play against Watford at Vicarage Road last season and it’s hard to see Jose moving from that blueprint. Watford have been excellent but that unbeaten run could end. 1-2

DH: Javi Gracia’s manager of the month award was fully deserved, but all good things come to an end. Mourinho is in combative mood right now and can swat te Hornets here. 1-2

WOLVES v BURNLEY

NH: Burnley are out of the dreaded Europa League but they’re still stuck in the ‘worst game on a Sunday’ slot in the Premier League calendar. Wolves should just sneak this. 2-1

TN: Hard not to have been impressed by Wolves’ approach to life in the Premier League and Burnley will find out just how good the hosts are. Burnley of last season might not have lost this, but something is missing this term. 2-0

DH: Wolves aren’t your typical newly-promoted side. Like Fulham they play with some swagger to their game when they’re on song and can see off Sean Dyche’s one-dimensional Clarets here. 3-1

EVERTON v WEST HAM

NH: Toffees fans thrive on early goals. If they get one, it will be easy against a hopeless Hammers’ side. But if they don’t, you can see Pellegrini’s side doing what Huddersfield did to Everton two weeks ago. 2-1

TN: There doesn’t appear to be much light at the end of the tunnel for Pellegrini, who insists on picking an immobile central midfield. Everton should win this, even without Richarlison. 2-0

DH: A must-not-lose as far as Hammers fans are concerned but their Goodison record is abysmal. The visitors will keep it tight but I’ll back Walcott to pop up with a Toffees winner. 2-1

SOUTHAMPTON v BRIGHTON

NH: It will be a fiercely contested affair at St Mary’s where the Saints will be favourites. With so much to play for, it has to end up all square. 1-1

TN: Brighton continue to punch above their weight, but a lot of their best performances come at home, so the Saints will be targeting this one. Ings’ movement can be the difference against Duffy and Dunk. 2-1

DH: Not one to get the pulse racing, but both sides are ticking over reasonably so far. Defences on top in a bore draw. 0-0
