Northop Hall re-ignited their Liverpool Competition Division Two promotion hopes with an eight-wicket win at Parkfield Liscard.
Josh Andrady and Dan Clubbe combined to make the home side’s decision to bat first after winning the toss foolish.
Andrady claimed 5-18 and Clubbe bagged 3-41 as Parkfield Liscard were restricted to just 116 for nine from 32.5 overs.
Hall lost Jac Kennedy and Andrady cheaply in reply, but the in-form James Hurlin hit an unbeaten 67 and Jamie Hodgson hit 37 not out as the Flintshire side took just 19.1 overs to secure victory.
Dave Kennedy’s men remain third in the table, but are just 12 points behind Caldy, who drew with Maghull, and 13 adrift of new leaders Old Xaverians, six-wicket winners at Sutton (St Helens).
